Furthermore, I simply feel as though I no longer have anything particularly polemical to say about arts or entertainment. But, now I have to write this final column of mine, a task that I feel woefully unprepared to accomplish adequately. I think I’ve settled on going for earnest here and reflecting upon the headspace I’m currently inhabiting as I approach graduation, even at the risk of sounding overly sentimental or morose. The paper chase is maddening at times when it causes you to disregard the things that make you happy and human. But for now, Rome is burning, and unlike the apathetic Nero, I’m going to make the most of every second I have left.
